Anna Matorina, born in 1988 in Moscow, showed an interest in art and culture from an early age. She began her education at the Moscow Architectural Artistic Craft School (MAKhR RAKH), where she developed her skills and creative vision. In 2012, Anna successfully completed her studies at the Surikov Moscow State Academy of Arts, which was an important milestone in her artistic career.
In 2020, she graduated from the “Free Workshops” at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA), where she continued to deepen her knowledge and experience in contemporary art. Anna actively researches Slavic embroidery and Russian culture, which is reflected in her work.
