Alexander Budd, also known as Astroaros, is a Swedish astrophotographer exploring
the beauty of the night sky. By day, I work as a physician, moving between Uppsala and Västerås — once known as Östra Aaros and Västra Aaros. But as evening falls,
I step into the role of Astroaros. With lenses and gear, I set out to capture the delicate beauty of nocturnal landscapes. I focus on auroras, comets, planets, and the sweeping arc of the Milky Way, framed against both the lights of the city and the rural calm of the Mälardalen region. Astrophotography lets me bring together scientific curiosity and artistic intuition. Through my images, I hope to invite others to slow down, look up, and rediscover the timeless conversation between Earth and sky.
